The Myddle Muddle comprises of a multi terrain 10K, 5K and a 1 mile fun run set in the beautiful rural countryside surrounding the North Shropshire village of Myddle. Starting at the Myddle Primary School the routes follow a circular, undulating 10K or 5K multi-terrain trail which promises a wide variety of terrain including working farms, fields, lanes, hill tops, pine and oak woodland and showcasing breath-taking views across the Shropshire Hills and Breiddens.

The 1 mile fun run is aimed predominantly at children and the route will pass next to fields of alpaca, horses, cows and the legendary Myddle ‘castle’. Fancy dress is optional!  All races are fully marshalled and we promise a good warm up beforehand and cake and refreshments to aid your recovery!

The pupils have chosen a wooden, environmentally friendly medal which will be awarded to all finishers. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 places (male & female) in each race.

This is a grass-roots fundraiser organised by Friends of Myddle Primary School and Nursery, run entirely by volunteers.  There is no pressure to be competitive, just come along and enjoy! All proceeds will benefit the children directly.
